OUR WHAT
Our focus at Article 12 Arts is to provide creative materials and opportunities for young refugees and vulnerable young adults to enjoy and express themselves.
We use the arts to sidestep the challenges of language, to unlock potential and as a tool to help integrate communities.
OUR WHY
Article 12 (UNCRC) is the right to give your opinion and for adults to listen and take you seriously. All young people have the right to freedom of expression. The right to an education and play. Our aim is to encourage this freedom of expression through the arts. Read more about it here.
OUR HOW
We use money donated by great people to create and provide art kits sent out to our at-risk young adults.
We also host workshops and performance opportunities for our local vulnerable young artists to express themselves. From Drumming to dance, we embrace physical expressions of art just as much as drawn
